Code of Conduct

A few rules, all binding. Anyone who signs up accepts them; anyone who breaks them is removed.

For sitters

  1. State only true, checkable facts. Any experience you list must be checkable with a phone call.
  2. Meet the family in person before the first engagement.
  3. Show the family, on request, your criminal record certificate or the special extract for private individuals, up to date, before the first engagement.
  4. Never publish or share photographs or videos of the minors you look after, on any channel, not even a private one, without the written authorisation of whoever holds parental responsibility.
  5. Do not delegate an engagement to someone else and do not substitute yourself without the family's consent.
  6. Communicate promptly any impediment, with as much notice as possible.
  7. Do not administer medication except on the family's written instruction.
  8. Do not transport minors by car without a written agreement and without the required restraint devices.
  9. Respect the confidentiality of anything you learn within the family.
  10. Report any incident immediately, even a minor one.

For families

  1. Provide complete and truthful information about allergies, treatments, habits and emergency contacts.
  2. Agree hours, tasks and pay in writing before starting.
  3. Honour the agreed financial terms and payment timing.
  4. Do not ask the sitter to do tasks other than those agreed.
  5. Do not request or retain documents beyond what is necessary for your own assessment.
  6. Report non-compliant behaviour promptly.

For facilities

  1. Keep declared authorisations and insurance cover valid.
  2. Update availability status accurately.
  3. Report any relevant change without delay.

Consequences

Violations lead to, depending on severity: a warning, precautionary suspension of the profile, or permanent removal. In cases that may amount to a criminal offence, the Platform reserves the right to inform the competent authorities.

To report a violation: report form or [email protected].
